DanieBlog - Today I encountered a strange problem, a friend sent a link download Google Drive for me. When I downloaded a fairly large file (over 700 MB), I got a Failed – Network error.
Google Chrome Failed – Network error
At first, I thought my internet was having problems so I tried downloading again. However, after a while, when the file has loaded more than 200 MB, I again encountered a Failed – Network error.
I checked my internet connection and everything was normal. After a while Google search, I noticed that many people encounter the same error as me when using Google Chrome to download files from Google Drive.

The Chrome version I’m using is 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit). Currently, this is the latest version.
Actually, I can not figure out what happened to this version of Chrome, this probably has to wait for Google.
I find a temporary answer to this problem is that you use FireFox to download files from Google Drive.
I tried it and it succeeded. Download large files from Google Drive with FireFox without any problems, including Failed – Network error.
Hope Google will soon find out and fix this issue. If you liked this article, then please subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more video tutorials. You can also find us on Twitter and Facebook.
